We are often asked…

How do we foster healthy relationships with existing recruitment clients and attract new ones?

Obviously, our client’s relationship with an existing client is contingent upon the level of service but beyond the deliverables let’s focus on relationship building.  One of our favourite methods is to leverage the power of our senses – hearing, touch, taste, smell and sight.  In today’s technological world whereby everyone communicates via emails and texts to save time, we have learned that “breaking the wire” is an effective way to nurture existing client relationships and attract new ones.  Rather then send an email to “touch base”, we encourage our clients to pick up the phone and leverage the sense of “hearing”.  Being in one’s inner ear is an incredibly powerful place with respect to client connections.  The phone call is followed by a strong handshake greeting (sense of touch) which is followed by the power of the “face to face” (sense of seeing) meeting — usually over a meal (sense of taste and smell) at the client’s favourite venue.  These simple, timeless measures strengthen client connections by demonstrating sincerity and authenticity which are keys to maintaining strong relationships.
