The ability to bring in new business is a critical leadership skill that supercharges interaction with others, especially in today’s world where are our future leaders are often tethered to technology. Consequently, many of our “Up & Comers” have had limited experience developing their interpersonal skills and confidence as it relates to business development. They are astute at communicating with their peers yet often have wide knowledge gaps as it relates to communicating with different generations.

Sessions Structures:

In groups of up to 20 people meeting once a week for 6 to 8 weeks typically for 45 – 60 minutes per session.

In groups of up to 20 people meeting once a fortnight for 60-90 minutes.

In a virtual setting of up to 6 people for 30-60 minutes over a video link.

1:1  In Person, FaceTime (or Skype) 20-45 minute sessions over an agreed number of weeks or months. Private meditation sessions ensure that your specific needs and goals are met without distractions.

Locations include conference rooms, desk-side or open spaces…the aim is learning to calm one’s mind anywhere.

Meditation does not require a special skill. 

No mats, cushions, chanting, chimes or change of clothes required.

How do you shift a new prospect to consider hiring you?

The first step is to help our coaching client understand the mind set of the potential “new prospect or buyer”. Essentially, if a “new prospect” is not doing business with you today, he or she is most likely doing business with someone who “looks like you” on paper — i.e. an expert providing the same service, in the same sector and so forth. The difference is that the prospect has a relationship with your “competitor”.

The next step is to help our client understand the “Take Away Sales” business development approach. This approach requires one to forget their personal agenda which is often feels counter intuitive to one’s thoughts about developing business. It is based on understanding the prospect’s interests, needs and current satisfaction level of his or her current service provider with an important twist — methodically executing just the right degree of “scepticism” at the right moment. The “Take Away Sales” approach is a relevant skill that can be taught and will deliver results with the right investment of time and openness to leave one’s comfort zone.
